White Cube
White Cube is one of the world's leading contemporary art galleries, founded by Jay Jopling in London in 1993. First famous as the crucible of the Young British Artists — giving early shows to Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin, and Marc Quinn — the gallery now represents an international roster including Antony Gormley, Julie Mehretu, Theaster Gates, and Howardena Pindell's generation-spanning peers, across spaces in London, Hong Kong, Paris, Seoul, and New York. Its New York gallery opened in 2023 in a former bank building at 1002 Madison Avenue on the Upper East Side.
