The FLAG Art Foundation
The FLAG Art Foundation is a nonprofit exhibition space in Chelsea founded by collector Glenn Fuhrman in 2008, presenting contemporary art from a collector's perspective and free to the public. Occupying two floors of the Richard Gluckman-designed Chelsea Arts Tower on West 25th Street, FLAG mounts ambitious thematic group shows and focused solo exhibitions — often pairing blue-chip figures with emerging artists — and invites guest curators from athletes to actors, all outside the commercial pressures of a selling gallery.
