Sprüth Magers
Sprüth Magers is a contemporary art gallery founded by Monika Sprüth and Philomene Magers, formed from the 1998 merger of their pioneering Cologne galleries. Long identified with the great generation of women artists it helped establish — Cindy Sherman, Barbara Kruger, Jenny Holzer, Rosemarie Trockel — the gallery represents over sixty artists and estates with spaces in Berlin, London, Los Angeles, and New York. Its New York gallery occupies a landmarked townhouse at 22 East 80th Street, steps from the Met.
