Marian Goodman Gallery, founded in 1977, helped introduce Europe's most important contemporary artists to American audiences — building the U.S. reputations of Gerhard Richter, Anselm Kiefer, Thomas Struth, and Maurizio Cattelan, alongside deep commitments to Steve McQueen, William Kentridge, Nan Goldin, and Julie Mehretu. Long based on 57th Street, the gallery moved in 2024 into a landmark five-story building at 385 Broadway in Tribeca, with further spaces in Paris and Los Angeles.
