Founded in London in 1967 by Nicholas Logsdail, Lisson Gallery is one of the most influential contemporary art galleries in the world. It pioneered the presentation of Minimal and Conceptual art in Britain — championing Sol LeWitt, Dan Graham, and Art & Language — and continues to support over 60 international artists including Marina Abramović, Anish Kapoor, Ryan Gander, Carmen Herrera's estate, and Lee Ufan. The gallery operates two spaces in Chelsea beneath and beside the High Line on Tenth Avenue, alongside galleries in London, Los Angeles, Beijing, and Shanghai.
