Hauser & Wirth is a leading international gallery for modern and contemporary art, founded in Zurich in 1992 by Iwan Wirth, Manuela Wirth, and Ursula Hauser. The gallery represents over ninety artists and estates — including Louise Bourgeois, Philip Guston, Mark Bradford, Jenny Holzer, and Rashid Johnson — and is known for museum-scale exhibitions, ambitious publishing, and arts centers in converted historic sites from Somerset to Menorca. Its New York flagship occupies a purpose-built five-story building on West 22nd Street in Chelsea, with a second space on 18th Street.
