Half Gallery
Half Gallery is an intimate contemporary gallery founded by writer and dealer Bill Powers in 2008, known for giving early exhibitions to a generation of emerging painters before wider recognition. Its tightly hung, salon-scale shows have introduced New York audiences to artists at formative moments, and the gallery has been an early platform for figures including Katherine Bernhardt, Genieve Figgis, and Hilary Pecis. After years on the Upper East Side, the gallery now operates downtown with an additional space in Los Angeles.
