A Year with Children 2026

A Year with Children 2026 presents artwork by students participating in Learning Through Art (LTA), the Guggenheim’s artist-in-residence program in New York City public schools. For more than 50 years, LTA has paired teaching artists with educators to design collaborative, multi-session projects that connect artistic practice with classroom learning. The program is shaped by the questions, interests, and experiences of New York City students. For the first time, residencies across 12 schools in all five boroughs were grounded in a shared concept: transformation.
